This load meter displays right on your main screen and shows calibrated Load, Amperage and Watts.

Hardware installation takes less than five minutes, is completely non-intrusive and quickly removable.

The software is copying less than five files over and rebooting the machine.

Not only do you get the load meter, but you get a graphing utility where you can graph your load across time. You can graph individual NC programs (show me the load of widget.top.ops.nc and widget.bottom.ops.nc) and individual tools (show me the load of all usage for T125).

If you think the below price is expensive, for comparison, Tormach sells an analog-only meter, that does not interface with PathPilot at all, has no graphing capability, requires invasive installation and is only compatible on certain, older machines for $152 + shipping.

The software-only option below will include all required code and a BOM to source the parts you'll need. You do have variable options and don't have to select exactly what I use, but in the end, they're all the same.

This product was designed and tested on my personal Tormach 1100M.

It should also work on Tormach lathes, but lathe support is currently untested. As I type this, I have pending sales for a 15L so this disclaimer should change soon.

If you are an early lathe buyer, some follow-up may be needed. In that case, you may need to send error details so I can provide updated code by email. That may not be necessary, but I want to be fully transparent. PathPilot is largely consistent across mill and lathe platforms, so compatibility is likely, but not guaranteed until confirmed.

The included grapher now outputs both an Ultrawide and an Overview graph. The ultrawide is great for detailed forensics.
The overview fits better on your screen. The above and below graphs are the same ops in both ultrawide and overview.
