Don't be fooled by $20 lights that may even look identical to this. They're not. They're different voltages, they're not USB, they're not an easy, quick install. I've done all the work to get this to easily and quickly work with PathPilot and that, unfortunately, comes with a cost.

This is a one-wire USB light, one-file install that takes seconds to get up and running.

It works with or without the Operator Console and does not interfere with other PathPilot hardware or software. It does not require the IO Board, any wiring or fiddling. All you need is an available USB port, plug it in and go.

NEW: The Signal Light does not even have to be connected to the CNC machine!

If the CNC and a normal Windows computer are on the same local network, PathPilot can send the machine state across the LAN. Plug the Signal Light into that Windows, Mac or Linux computer—office, classroom, house, couch laptop, whatever—and it mirrors the machine out in the shop in real time. E-stop goes red, ready goes green, running flashes green, feedhold/tool-change uses yellow/green, etc. The Windows app also shows the same lights on-screen, so you can use it as a remote monitor even with no physical light plugged into that computer.

If you have more than one PathPilot machine, the same Windows app can also act as a Fleet Monitor. Each licensed machine gets its own detailed tab, while a master screen can show all of them at once as live red/yellow/green status cards with selected telemetry such as machine model, current program, tool, line, IP address and link health. This is monitoring only—it does not remotely Cycle Start, jog or otherwise control the CNC—and the same PathPilot-side software is used on every machine.
