I am proud to release a Red | Yellow | Green + Buzzer USB Signal Light for Tormach mills and lathes running PathPilot. Four-Stack purchasers get Blue , too!

Don't be fooled by $20 lights that may even look identical to this. They're not. They're different voltages, they're not USB, they're not an easy, quick install. I've done all the work to get this to easily and quickly work with PathPilot and that, unfortunately, comes with a cost.

This is a one-wire USB light, one-file install that takes seconds to get up and running.

It works with or without the Operator Console and does not interfere with other PathPilot hardware or software. It does not require the IO Board, any wiring or fiddling. All you need is an available USB port, plug it in and go.

The stack light plugs into any available USB port and requires just one file for installation.

Like my other PathPilot products and plugins, installation is simple: copy the file onto your machine from inside PathPilot and reboot.

Full instructions are included with your purchase. The software is configurable and your lifetime license includes whatever mods and updates I may release.

Note, you have to purchase the exact brand of light or the code won't work.

Unlike my famous Plugins, this software is closed-source and not editable.

Both the software-only and software+hardware options operate on one-machine-per-license principle.

The software-only option is available for those buyers wishing to purchase the light itself from a third party.

If you have multiple machines, you will need multiple licenses. You may contact me for a bulk / institutional order.

Ten units going to a certain major university's machining department.

Once installed, the signal light gives you an immediate visual indication of what your machine is doing:
GREEN STEADY	Machine is referenced, idle, and ready.
GREEN FLASHING	G-code program, MDI command, or manual jogging is active.
YELLOW STEADY	Machine is Reset, but one or more required XYZ axes are not referenced.
YELLOW FLASHING	Operator Feedhold is active.
YELLOW + GREEN FLASHING	M1 pause or M6 manual tool-change hold.
RED STEADY	E-stop active or machine out of Reset while idle.
RED FLASHING + BUZZER	E-stop occurred during a running G-code program or MDI command. An optional pulsating buzzer sounds during this condition. A Silence Alarm button can mute the buzzer while the red light continues flashing until the machine state is recovered.
BLUE FLASHING	Current code for the four-stack option flashes blue for M6 tool changes. It can, however, be edited to whatever you want. Just email me.
