4th Axis Knurling G-code Generator
Tool number:
Spindle RPM:
Diamond angle (DEG2):
How "stretched" the individual diamonds are. In the photos, this was 30 (45 looks better imho).
Length of knurl (X travel):
The working length of your entire knurled pattern.
If starting at the right and working left, this should be a negative value.
If your 4th axis is on the right side of the machine, this will usually be positive.
Degree step / offset:
Each new line is offset by this many degrees from the preceding line.
Example: 10 means 360 / 10 = 36 steps around the axis.
Depth of cut (Z):
In the photos, this was -0.02 with a normal 90 degree chamfer mill.
